No gallery!? I would think you would steal Landon's camera all the time to take photos

My strength is in what makes a good shot or evokes emotion...then I just wait for those shots to come and fulfill my appetite... there's a lot to be said for being the guy "not" behind the camera...it allows me a little bit of unique objectivity... Simply put... I can't take a decent picture to save my life...but I can sure recognize one and know how it could be even better...

Well I do believe being able to recognize a shot is the majority of what taking the photo is. Lanny is able to see something I rarely can, AND take a wonderful shot. I have trouble seeing the photo to begin with, so if you can do what he does, all you need is a little practice time behind the camera (or a lot) and I would bet you a bail of hay you could do wonders!
Thanks for the encouragement however I don't know that I'd have the patience to learn all what I need to in order to make the camera do what I want it to. On the other hand, some of my favorite "Lanny pics" were caught on a point and shoot... Oh well... I have to disagree with you on one thing though... Unless all your shots were simply flukes, which I KNOW wasn't the case, I think you do have an ability to "see" things as well. Some of your subjects look well thought out for composition and captured as well... I don't think anyone can steal the crown from Lanny in that department (all bias aside) but they make up for it in other areas. For instance, I think your color composition and toning is top shelf!!!
